BARBARA L. TAAFF is an associate attorney with the Kenneth E. Devore & Associates in Westlake Village. The firm specializes in estate planning, probate, trust administration, conservatorships and elder law. Ms. Taaff worked as a research attorney for the Superior Court of California in Santa Monica and has extensive experience in the areas of conservatorships, probate and trust administration, elder law, and estate planning. Ms. Taaff has also practiced in the area of community association law and other real estate related matters. She worked fifteen years as a probate paralegal prior to becoming an attorney.

Ms. Taaff is a member of the American Bar Association; the Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations; the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles; and the San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council, where she currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Ms. Taaff earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from California State University, Northridge. She was first in her class at the University of La Verne College of Law where she graduated summa cum laude. There she served on Law Review for two years as senior staff writer for the Journal of Juvenile Law and editor of the Journal Legal Advocacy & Practice. She also competed nationally with the University's Moot Court Team.
