Stephanie M. Manis joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2015 and was named partner in 2022. She regularly advises a diverse clientele on establishing comprehensive estate plans (including drafting revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and related documents). Stephanie also spends significant time guiding families when a loved one has diminished capacity and navigating the settlement of an estate after death by representing Trustees, beneficiaries, and court-appointed personal representatives. Prior to joining Kenneth E. Devore & Associates, Stephanie gained experience in the areas of small business and corporate law.
As a Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” Stephanie is one of no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the State of California, nominated by her peers and evaluated by an independent organization, to receive this designation. She currently serves as the Attorney Chair on the Board of the Conejo Valley Estate Planning Council and is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association. She also volunteers her time as a member of the Emerging Leaders Board for the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University, where she graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
When Stephanie is not at work, she enjoys a good college football game and spending time with her husband, Michael, their two sons, and two rescue dogs, Sadie and Jet.
