Tina J. Cowdrey joined Kenneth E. Devore & Associates as an associate attorney in 2020 after operating her own law firm for 18 years. During that time, she left full-time practice to be a “work at home mom,” and continued handling real estate and business transaction and litigation matters. Within the last 10 years, her practice shifted to various aspects of health care law, including physical and financial abuse of elders and dependent adults. She advises the firm’s clients in estate planning and trust administration matters.
Tina has been instrumental in serving our community and numerous philanthropies with her daughters for nine years through National Charity League, Inc., Ventura County Chapter, holding board positions of President, President Elect, Parliamentarian, and Vice President Communications. She served on the board of Forever Friends Golden Retriever Rescue, the athletic committee at Spanish Hills Club, captained numerous tennis teams, and is a member of the Ventura County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations. She is also everyone’s barn mom at Silver Crest Stables, where her youngest daughter is a competitive equestrian.
Tina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Honors from California State University, Northridge, her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law. Keeping busy at all times, you may find Tina on the tennis court, at the barn or a show with her horses Spotlight, Estelle, and Kramer, on a walk with her energetic labrador retriever Poppy, and sometimes relaxing with her husband Sean, three daughters, and two granddaughters.
